This significantly reduces the production of harmful and potentially harmful chemicals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Scientific studies have shown that switching completely from conventional cigarettes to the products significantly reduces your body\u2019s exposure to harmful or potentially harmful chemicals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
In its decision, the FDA reaffirmed that \u201cthe scientific evidence that is available without conducting long-term epidemiological studies demonstrates that a measurable and substantial reduction in morbidity or mortality among individual tobacco users is reasonably likely.\u201d The agency found that the updated evidence remains consistent with the original authorization and continues to support the original conclusions that the exposure modification claims are supported by scientific evidence and that the MRTPs are expected to benefit the health of the population as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The agency emphasized that these products are not \u201cFDA approved\u201d, or that FDA deems the products to be safe for use by consumers. There is no safe tobacco product, and those who do not use tobacco products should not start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
